Melbourne is a spacious Georgian town house providing 5
star Visit Wales graded self-catering accommodation in the stylish coastal town of Aberaeron in Ceredigion,
West Wales. The house has been totally refurbished and offers the highest quality holiday accommodation for
up to six people.
The Area
The town of Aberaeron is located on the A487 seventeen miles south of the
university town of Aberystwyth and twenty miles north of Cardigan.
Melbourne is centrally located close to Aberaeron's picturesque harbour
with a good range of shops, excellent pubs and restaurants - all within easy walking distance. Ceredigion's
beautiful coastline with its International Blue Flag, Green Coast and Seaside Award winning beaches, coastal paths and the
superb marine wildlife of Cardigan Bay - bottlenose dolphins, seals and sea birds - are only a few minutes away from
the front door. Inland, the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron is just a short cycle ride away through
the pictruesque Aeron valley.
Activities
Walkers are spoilt for choice - gentle country walks or more strenuous hikes
in the Cambrian Mountains - are all within easy reach. Cyclists have a choice of quiet lanes and cycle routes to
follow. Anglers can chose from some of the best fishing rivers in Wales or fish Cardigan Bay. Aberaeron has a
leisure centre, swimming pool and tennis courts and there is an 18 hole golf course just a short drive away at Llanrhystud.
Accommodation
Melbourne has three comfortable bedrooms, tastefully decorated
and traditionally furnished with co-ordinating bed linen - two double rooms (one with en-suite facilities - the other located
on the ground floor) and one twin room. The beds are made up awaiting your arrival.
Melbourne has a luxurious bathroom with
a bath and separate shower cubicle on the first floor and a shower room and toilet on the ground floor. Freshly
laundered towels are provided for each guest.

The kitchen and utility room are
fitted with a full size electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble drier with
a range of useful extras. A welcome pack of local produce is provided for each party.
The comfortably furbished sitting
room has a large television, DVD player, hi-fi and a range of books to suit most tastes. The separate dining area leads
on to a sunny conservatory opening out on to the private rear garden.
The secure rear garden area planted with colourful plants and
shrubs is the perfect spot for a barbecue or quiet drink. The private rear garage has storage space for
bicycles and other equipment.
Well behaved children of
all ages are always welcome – we have a cot and high chair and provide children’s cutlery and crockery, DVDs,
books and toys. The enclosed rear garden doubles as a secure play area.
